Hi all,

I've just installed mythbuntu 8.10 on a BE/FE with a DViCO dual digital 4 DVB card. Most things work great out of the box (had to find some firmware for the card, but for once I haven't had to recompile any drivers!)

The only problem is I've lost one of the channels (SBS). I can watch it manually using VLC, but when I try it in myth it drops back to the main menu after a couple of seconds. The mythbackend logfile looks like:

2008-11-05 18:21:46.563 DVBChan(1:0) Warning: Your frequency setting (0) is out of range. (min/max:174000000/862000000)
2008-11-05 18:21:46.582 DVBChan(1:0) Error: Tune(): Setting Frontend tuning parameters failed.
eno: Invalid argument (22)
2008-11-05 18:21:46.612 DVBChan(1:0) Error: SetChannelByString(10): Tuning to frequency.
2008-11-05 18:21:46.614 TVRec(1) Error: Failed to set channel to 10. Reverting to kState_None

Any thoughts what I should do?

Answered my own problem; I had to manually enter the channels frequency in the dtv_multiplex table in the database. Why it didn't fill automatically like in previous installations is a mystery to me.
