what is the contents of your /etc/my.cnf? (if present). Did your<br>

</blockquote></div><br>Fred,<br><br>Thanks mate, I actually didn't need to do all that to begin with. I had first tried to just straight cp -r, forgetting -p to preserve so I ran into problems there. Wound up being a really simple cp -rp and she's all up and running now :)<br>
