It is probably a driver issue.<br>
It might be something particular to your card though.<br>
I believe i had one under 7.10 that just did not work with the opengl
painter.<br>
opengl for vsync seemed to work though ;-><br>

I did get it to work that way and I am watching a local channel. Now I have to see about OpenGL. Can I assume that it is not a video driver issue?

Launch with mythfrontend --O ThemePainter=qt to temporarily use QT
instead of OpenGL.
Although, I would recommend fixing the OpenGL issues, of course.
