amixer -c 1 sset 'IEC958' unmute <br> <br>mplayer "$1" <br> <br>And set set <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 128);">mythtv</b> to use that scrips as the player-command. </font></font><br>

</blockquote><br></div><br>Actually mplayer doesn't have the mute/unmute problem so I wouldn't even need the script. Is there a way to configure mythtv to use mplayer to play it's recordings instead of using the internal player? <br>
