&gt; otherwise? Are you able to achieve stable 1080p playback on it?<br><br>I&#39;m not quite there yet.&nbsp; I&#39;ve stuck an AMD X2 5200 in this MB with the hope that it can display 1080i AVCHD from my camcorder.&nbsp; My initial tests with mplayer svn resulted in stuttering, but CPU usage was &quot;OK&quot; at 65% or so.&nbsp; Also it seems only one core was loaded, so I have more playing to do.<br>
<br>I&#39;m using the catalyst 8.47.3 drivers, and I found them very finicky.&nbsp; For this build I&#39;m using mythbuntu, and as an old slackware user, I&#39;m used to edtting things by hand and compiling from source.&nbsp; Slackware thinking + mythbuntu =&nbsp;&nbsp; the need for a re-install.<br>
<br>Overall I&#39;m pleased with the MB so far.&nbsp; Note though that with a standard CPU + heatsink, this mini-itx board won&#39;t fit into many mini-itx cases.&nbsp; (I think this not the case manufacturer&#39;s fault.&nbsp; I think std heatsinks + fans result in a profile that exceeds the nomal mini-itx profile).&nbsp; Note also that most mini-itx cases don&#39;t expect the heat associated with a regular CPU.&nbsp; Even though this is only a 65W CPU, I needed to add fans to my case.<br>
<br>I&#39;m using HDMI to output to an 47LG70.&nbsp; The TV reports 1080i or 1080p signal (as I expect it), but I have significant underscanning (ie border ) around the edges.&nbsp; X is telling me the res is 1920x1080, so I&#39;m&nbsp; a bit confused, but I haven&#39;t looked into this much yet.<br>
