<div dir="ltr">You don't mention what distro you are using which would help, there was a bug in Fedora and possibly related spins that caused something similar, think that it could be got around with:<br><br><span>libata.pata_dma=1
<br><br>As a boot option for the kernel, If my memory serves me well. Failing that then don't discount the possibility of failing hardware, been down that road myself with hardware I thought was sound.<br><br>Just some random thoughts that may be useful!<br>
