I am using Plex (OSXBMC) on a Mac Mini as my frontend connected to a LCD display. I also am trying out the MyMote iPhone app as a possible remote.<BR>

This is what I use. You can set up transcoding jobs to strip the commercials and then place the MPEG streams in MPEG-2 PS format into a pyTivo share and then access them from the TiVo.<BR>
