And some are trying and can't figure out how to get it to play HD (A180
card output from clear QAM-256 cable) correctly, especially with
LiveTV. I'm glad you posted that link, because it looks like there
have been updates since my last try, and maybe I can finally deploy
this to the set I am hoping to use it with.<br>

I agree that the AppleTV is a pretty inexpensive front-end. It's also
quiet and unobtrusive. But you probably had to do quite a bit of
shoe-horning of Myth to get it to fit into the 256M of memory the ATV
has, and I don't think that's trivial or well-supported in the current
distribution.<br>
