<div dir="ltr">I have tried for a week to get the analog half of the HVR-1600 working with Comcast. Called comcast a few times once the rep promised a call back. (Never happened). Another time I sat on the line a half hour with a Comcast rep who carried on a conversation with a coworker and my call mysteriously disconnect.<br>
<br>Today I figured I tried Hauppuage tech support. The rep said there is a known issue with Comcast. He said comcast is sending its clear QAM in a frequency that Hauppagge cards don't recognize. His mention of clear QAM confused me. I confirmed that I was talking about picking up Comcast on the analog portion of the card.<br>
<br>He said they are working on Comcast and he expects a firmware upgrade at some point to correct this. Since some users do not have a problme with the HVR-1600 and Comcast, I assume this is as others suggested a regional Comcast problem.<br>
