<br>I have noticed some interesting options<br>-m 0 as mentioned by Kingsley<br>-T largefile or -T largefile4, I don't know which is the best in this case<br>-J size=n : I don't know if it is necessary and how to "play" with it<br>
<br>In my case (software raid5), I should also be aware of the --stride=n option (<a href="http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Software-RAID-HOWTO-5.html#ss5.11">http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Software-RAID-HOWTO-5.html#ss5.11</a>).<br><br>When using ext3 for recordings, you should set the mythtv slow delete option (<a href="http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-3.html">http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-3.html</a>, see Filesystems).<br>
