Much time was wasted thinking... maybe it only loads the list of transcode profiles at startup and i need to restart the front-end, nope. Maybe it loads the the list from the backend and i need to restart the backend, nope. Maybe there's another list of profiles maintained somewhere else in the settings and i just need to dig around, nope. Maybe in the playback profiles there is a setting to select the transcode profiles you want to make available in a playback group, nope etc etc<br> <br>Just another one of those features in myth that always seems far more complicated to setup than should be necessary. Nevermind, can't beat the price! And it's a minor point; i have just set the default profile to the settings i want, will transcode the programs i want at this setting, and then set the profile back.</div></div></div></blockquote><div><br></div>It's considered an enhancement which, while nice to have, will not be accepted as a bug unless someone does the work to submit a patch that implements the new feature.</div><div><br></div></body></html>
