LiveTV is not usable with the card, but recordings are ok.
This is with Comcast cable. I have not tried to use the card for OTA reception.

I am also using Comcast cable.

Can anyone who knows the inner workings of MythTV explain what occurs differently when switching inputs that might cause it to work, when it does not work switching to a different channel on the same card. (Does more initialization happen? Is it more patient in getting the initial video?)

Hm. While I see a few occasional dropouts in my recordings, the initial scan
(with the program "scan" from the dvb apps) found a huge amount of channels.
Most of them are encrypted, though.
