9) Turned computer off and back on, still doesn't work.<br>10) Ran mythweb -> settings -> database -> extended check: All OK<br>11) Hit "optimize" and "Repair" anyway.<br>12) Frontend still locked up<br>
13) Restarted X<br>14) Play GMA -- played fine.</blockquote>

<div>Generally speaking I've found that X issues can often be traced to NVIDIA driver issues. Simply try moving your driver version up to a newer version or down to an older version until you find one that is most stable for you.</div>
