<div>The *reality* is that attaching BitTorrent to MythTV very well may end the project depending on who takes notice. Creating a DVD backup has hardly the same stigma attached as attaching BitTorrent distribution options to a media recorder. No one said anything related to copyright, BitTorrent, and Television was logical. It is simply the way it is and those that started this project don't want the topic associated. And the beauty of Open Source is you can contribute code, no one will stop you, just it won't be distributed with the core product and it won't be a topic for conversation. If that still isn't enough, the beauty of Open Source continues and allows you to distribute your own MythTV code with your new features included. Best of luck!</div>
