</div>I fought that today myself. I finally figured out that the drivers that<br>
were called out in xorg.conf were not on the system. I used envyng to<br>
load them. Very easy.<br>
"apt-get install envyng"<br>
"envyng"<br>
then load the ATI drivers.<br>
