</div></div><div>Try a different IDE cable perhaps.&nbsp; Maybe you bent/frayed or otherwise mangled the ribbon in the messing around.&nbsp; Check the pins all around to be sure none are bent also.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div><font color="#888888"></font></div></blockquote></div><br>I had checked the pins already. I didn&#39;t think about the cable itself going bad. I rounded up an old IDE controller card that supports large drives. I have the troubled drive running off of the controller card. It has been working fine for a few days now. Hopefully this will fix it. For now it seems like it was the MB/Bios struggling with the unsupported large drive. <br>
