Is the right dev file being used?<br><br>Does lircd stay up? (pgrep lircd), if not, check for /dev/lirc, you may need to use the -d option to lircd when you start it, eg, I do:<br><br>/usr/local/sbin/lircd -d /dev/lirc0<br>

<p>I am now using Fedora Core 8, and PVR 150 TV card.<br>

I used FC6, and installed mythtv on FC6, and everything works fine including lirc driver and remote function.<br>

Now, we got a new dual core Shuttle, and use Fedore Core 8(<font size="4">kernel version: 2.6.24.4-64.fc8.i686</font>). <br>
<br>
everything is fine besides lirc and remote function.<br>
