<html><body><br>I'm not sure if this is the correct place to send this, but I seem to have exhausted all other sources. I am trying to use myth on mythbuntu with an ATI TV Wonder 550. I have been googling for a few weeks on this, but there is no good information.<br><br>With the bttv driver, my dmesg does not show any card identification information (modprobe bttv card=63).<br><br>[ 912.122234] bttv: driver version 0.9.17 loaded<br>[ 912.122242] bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for capture<br><br>lspci shows the card as: 00:08.0 Multimedia controller: ATI Technologies Inc Theater 550 PRO PCI [ATI TV Wonder 550]<br><br><font color="#000000">When I try to access /dev/video0 with the driver loaded I get -ENODEV from the driver on open.<br><br></font>james@mythbox:~$ ls -la /dev/video0<br>crw-rw---- 1 root video 81, 0 2008-05-26 16:06 /dev/video0<br><font color="#000000"><br></font>On the database page, the top card in use is the TV Wonder with the Gatos driver. Does anyone know if 1) my card is supported, 2) which driver is the correct driver (gatos, bttv).<br><br>Just to make sure it wasn't the card, I installed windows and sagetv, which worked fine.
