<pre wrap="">I was wondering if there's any tools for allowing mythtv to use windows
generic DVB tuners over the network via some protocol (UPnP? HTTP?).
Maybe a windows server that emulates a HDHomerun or something like that?
Failing that - what would be a suiatble protocol to work with? There's a
few network protocols for tuners in the back end but I don't know the
details on any of them.

I believe its possible to setup VLC to Network Stream and use as an IPTV
tuner in MythTV.
I have not sone this myself but I found the Lifeview TV Walker Twin (USB)
section under <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Video_capture_card">http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Video_capture_card</a>
