<div>There's not much to it:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>For each simultaneous program you want to record you :</div>
<div> - Connect Set Top Box (STB) to capture card (PVR-150 for example) using s-video input to capture in standard definition resolutions</div>
<div> - Set up some kind of control interface to the STB (IR blaster, serial, firewire, depends on the STB capabilities) so that Myth can change channels on the STB as needed</div>
<div> - Configure Myth to use the s-video input with Dish guide information and the appropriate channel changer</div>
<div> </div>
<div>That's about it. The only other option is the semi-shady modified STB that add firewire output but those have their own set of challenges working with Linux system such as possibly requiring a Windows "middleman" system</div>
