It's built into X. Google for XDMCP. You don't need Vnc unless you're<br>
remote - as in over a WAN.<br></blockquote><div><br>Can you do persistent sessions that way? That's what I use VNC for: connect to the box, start something, disconnect the client, come back later and reconnect to the original session, even from a different machine.<br>
