</div>Interesting. I've tried running multi-seat, and it fails... Xvnc must be<br>
doing something different then. I'm going to be playing with Xephyr<br>
multiseat in the hope of having a single mondo backend/multifrontend and<br>
eliminate some of the frontends around the house, along with having<br>
instant-on ability and no network problems.<br>

--Yan</div></blockquote><div><br><br>I run my setup multi-headed. My "tv" is my projector and a 15" lcd for admin work and playing music. <br><br>When working on Myth I run another instance of the FE on the 15" works fine. Thinking about doing this leads to two issues.<br>
<br>1. Sound, If you have enough slots for tuners and sound cards you should be fine by selecting the correct card in the fe setup.<br><br>2. LIRC, this maybe the most difficult part. Currently when I run two FE's the remote controls both instances. You would need a way to limit the lirc broadcast to each FE.<br>
<br>Also, my desktop is multi-display, one user logs into it and the mouse spans each display. Maybe lirc would behave correctly if you setup your xorg for two seats.<br><br>Mitchell<br><br></div></div><br>
