stream, converting it to analog (and down-res-ing it in the process), then<br>
asking your PVR-150 to convert it back to an mpeg-2 stream.<br>

....why? Why not buy a cheap OTA capture card and capture it straight to<br>
disk without the decode/recode in the middle? Then you wouldn't need an IR<br>
blaster at all! Seems to me like you're taking a rocket ship around the<br>
moon to pick up groceries from the other side of town.<br>

I have a ATSC tuner card, and also a backup DTV converter box just in case<br>
my myth box does a serious faceplant. (Always good to have a backup plan;<br>
keeps the S.O. happy if you screw up!)<br>

But sometimes there is a 3rd thing I want to grab and usually one of those 3 is aired in SD. So pushing to the PVR-150 wont really hurt.<br>
<br>I want to get the converter box connected so i can get my lower numbered channels. With my antenna setup in analog I cant tune the lowered channels clearly. Upgrading the antenna isn't really an option. I am in a appt and I have the best I can get now. <br>
<br>Being the converter box was only ~10 it will due, if i can get the IR working. Dont really want to spent another ~50+ dollars on a tuner. If i spend any money on a tuner it will be when the HD PVR is supported.<br><br>
