</div></blockquote><div><br></div><div>The unit has a hardware encoder chip, so there is no CPU load for encoding. It takes a little more CPU than a PVR die to the USB subsystem overhead and the fact that you have to compress the audio yourself (with your CPU) but this is minimal.</div>
