</blockquote></div><br><br>I had a similar experience with a comcast technician a while back. This was just before comcast offered their own PVRs. I had to replace one of my digital boxes and specifically requested one with a serial port (for channel changing). He brought one, but he'd never had a request like that before and was curious why, I told him and he said something along the lines of "You know, we're getting our own PVRs soon". I said "this is better" and showed him why.<br>
<br>He left saying he was going to look into installing MythTV himself :).<br>
