font-family:Arial'>I am trying to setup MythTV for the first time. I have
a PVR-500 on order but in the mean time, I have installed my old Dvico Fusion
HDTV 3 card. I am having trouble setting it up. I cannot get any
channels when I do a channel scan. And I am having quite a time finding
specific information on how to setup Myth to use my card. I am hoping
some more experienced user can help me out. So here are some specifics:<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>The card: Dvico Fusion HDTV 3 Gold/QAM. It will
receive digital broadcasts either OTA or through the cable system. I’ve
used it before in Windows XP connected to cable. It also receives analog
broadcasts through the cable or OTA. I want to connect it to my cable and
receive the analog and digital (including ATSC HDTV) via QAM.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

am running Mythbuntu (7.10), but I am not opposed to running Myth straight
under Ubuntu Linux if that is what I need to do.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
