I have learnt to ignore the myth OSD signal strength. If I add attenuation to my line the % goes up, if I add an amp the % goes down.( inverse to what I would expect) This is on a Leadtek Winfast DTV2000H. You could be overdriving the input to your server's cards, a case of more is not always better.
