</blockquote><div><br>Diff is that Core Duo is a 32-bit architecture loosely based on P3 (still much better clock for clock than P4), and Core 2 Duo is a 64-bit arch, brand new (when it came out), and significantly better than both P4 and P3 architectures clock for clock.<br>
