<FONT COLOR="#000000">I doubt it. De-interlacing always compromises the picture quality, doing</FONT><BR>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">it twice will probably make it worse. Since your TV-out is 50Hz</FONT><BR>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">interlaced and you TV-set is 100Hz (interlaced?) you will have to have a</FONT><BR>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">deinterlacer of some sort. I think the only way to not have motion smear</FONT><BR>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">is to have MythTV use onefield de-interlace. But then you lose half the</FONT><BR>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">vertical resolution. It won't get any better with LCD/plasma/OLED either</FONT><BR>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">since they're all progressive technologies and the broadcast stuff looks</FONT><BR>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">like sticking with interlaced. Anyone know if projectors can do interlaced?</FONT><BR>

I saw this on the wiki earlier but this might end up being a commercial product and therefore I am searching for the least complicated fix. I am limited to EPIA only right now.<BR>

If composite is rejected by project managers I will have to look into that.<BR>
