I just<br>have a few questions about Mythbuntu. When I run mythfrontend in Mythbuntu,<br>my cpu load average is about 3.00, unwatchable. I noticed about 10% cpu<br>utilization from Xorg.<br><br>When I run Mythdora, I get a load average of about 1.00 while watching<br>video. The settings on both systems are the exact same. Same resolution,<br>mpeg2 decoder, same system, etc. The only difference is the hard drive.<br>The Mythdora is a 2.5" 5400 rpm drive, and the mythbuntu is a 3.5" 7200 rpm<br>drive. By that account, the mythbuntu system should be faster.<br><br>My hope is someone has a hint on how to lower that CPU utilization in<br>mythbuntu, or someone can confirm my parity between the distros.
