I am having issues booting my new 7.10 machine. It's a Shuttle G33 Intel Core Duo 2.66 with a 500GB Seagate SATA HD and a Lite-on SATA DVD Burner. In order to install Mythbuntu, I had to move around my SATA connections inside. I read that there seems to be an issue with the SATA headers being "doublebooked" and that I should move my connections to the highest numbered SATA headers... check. I was then able to install Mythbuntu
7.10, but it would not boot. Moved the SATA connections around again a few times, found a new combination, and it booted. I then found out that I was only seeing the first 12 channels of my cable service and had to restart to get into the setup portion where I could make the change to a different cable provider option... wouldn't boot. Now it won't boot to a LiveCD either. I keep getting the same error after the loading bar fails to move for about 30seconds. I end up back in the BusyBox shell with mention of initramfs, my ATA header number, and "failed to set xfermode (err_mask=0x40)"
