I go with the HDD. A Flash device (which a CF is) is slower and has a
more limited life than a hard drive.

I run a SBE/FE off a cf card adapter without issues. I just have a ram
drive setup on boot for the logs and all so I don't have to worry about
the card's life as much. I would assume a HD for a master backend
would be better especially if you want the database to be on this drive.<br>
