I'm running the unmasked SVN gentoo mythtv ebuild. It updates every few weeks and when it does I manually update and install mythplugins as there does not seem to be an ebuild for SVN plugins. I only install mythvideo and mytharchive and dvd stuff.<br><br>A few months ago all was working great. For the last few update cycles DVDs and videos ripped from DVDs will play, but I can not fast forward or rewind. At 3X it seems to be OK. At 5X it is jerky and tries to play sound and never makes progress. Above 5X it usually locks up.<br><br>I was expecting it to just be fixed eventually but now that I've gone through a few update cycles and am running almost latest SVN, I'm starting to think I must have something configured incorrectly.<br><br>I have an nvidia card and I use a profile that uses XvMC for everything (SD via PVR150 & HD via HD5500) and playback, FF, RW all work great for all recored shows but not at all for mythvideo and
DVDs.<br><br>Any ideas or suggestions on what to check/change/fiddle with would be greatly appreciated.<br><br>Thanks.<br>Vern<br><p>
