Myth's storage directories have eliiminated the need for LVM for recordings. However, mythvideo still can only read from a single directory. So you'll need LVM if your videos require more space than your largest hard drive.

Gotch,<br><br>LVM is scary since I had a bad experience with it already so I might avoid it but I've not been exposed to RAID - I'm assuming in RAID there is additional hardware that is needed??<br><br>Since Myth can now handle "storage directory's" is there really a need to create one large drive?
