I tried LVM until one of my drives died and took out the LVM I liked the concept though until I attempted a recovery which stunk... with SVN and the new storage directory's I think I can achieve essentially the same thing as LVM but using separate drives, the best of both worlds...
<br><br>I'd like to not have a bunch of drives heating up my frontend or backend for that matter and would like to place this box in the basement so jamming in 3 or 4 drives isn't really an option. <br><br>Can NAS systems merge drives similar to LVM or are they destined to be separate drives?
