hi,

Does anyone know about the status of the flash player in MythWeb? is it still being worked? for the .21 release is the aspect ratio for 16:9 recordings going to be fixed?

I don't believe it will be included in .21 since the current implementation is just a proof of concept and no actual accepted code for release is even in SVN at the moment.

And what a very good proof of concept! Works great and reliably for me (in SVN). Since most of my recordings are in 16:9 ratio, I manually hacked it in: /mythweb/modules/stream/handler.pl lines 135 and 144 to get it playing back 16:9. I have the reverse problem now of course with 4:3 recordings -but that's less of a problem for me.

Too good in my opinion. Leaves people just accepting it as "good enough" rather than working toward the real implementation. ;)

_______________________________________________

Wow that does work well... most all my recordings are hd so that fixes most of the issues.

Does anyone know how to change the quality? I think my internet connection could stream a better video.

Now there are only 2 major caeats for me
1. no comm skip
2. can fastforward (wouldnt be nessesary if 1 existed)

Mitchell
