<div>This is a broadcaster issue from what I've seen. I've seen it most often with NBC but other stations do it. It also happens when scrollers (severe weather, etc) go across the screen. Nothing really we can do here as the feed is reverting to SD content on the HD feed.

The CBS affiliate there broadcasts it news in SD of course. Some times after the news they forget to flick the feed back over to HD. So after the 30 mins to a hour of syndicated TV airs and the network shows start they arent it HD. I didnt believe him at first that there is really a "switch" but he said it true because the times it has happened he has called the station and said "Hey, can you turn the HD feed back on?" 2 seconds later the HD came on with his OTA anntenna!
