I don't recall exactly what model I have, but I have a linksys something-or-another that while it didn't work out of the box with Linux, it works just fine using ndiswrapper to load the Windows drivers. Granted, I'm currently running unencrypted, so I'm not sure if that makes a difference. Wireless in Linux isn't impossible, but it can be a bit of a pain.
