<div>That's good. Have you checked things like permissions on the recording directory to be sure that the user you are running the backend as has permissions to write to that folder? I keep my recordings out of /var/ for these kinds of reasons.

<div>Also, the errors about MPEG-1 seem very strange in your logs. My IVTV version is 0.10.5. You may want to try updating your IVTV as I don't recognize that version numbering. You can get the package from <a href="http://atrpms.net">
atrpms.net</a> and other places or just download the source from <a href="http://ivtvdriver.org">ivtvdriver.org</a> and install.</div>
