Thanks for the response.<br><br>I deleted all capture cards, then re-added my capture card, scanned for channels, then attempted to watch tv. <br><br>I'm using a Hauppauge PVR-150 and I set it as MPEG-2. I can't tell which version of ivtv is installed or if it is installed. I have no IVTV tools. I installed mythtv from packages and did not install ivtv separately. Looking in my package manager, it doesn't appear that ivtv is installed. Is that possible? In my package manager I only see ivtv source and ivtv utils versions 1.0.2-2. Re-add your card(s)<br>making sure your ivtv-based PVR card is configured as a hardware<br>MPEG-2 card (and leave the audio settings alone).<br><br>If this doesn't help, please list the capture cards you have in the<br>machine and the version of ivtv that you are using.<br><br>Do you have any channel-change/capture card scripts being called when<br>recordings start that may be interfering with the ivtv driver?<br><br>-- <br>Nick Morrott<br><br>MythTV Official
