Hello all in MythTV land,

I'm trying to build an SD front end for my living room. I recently built my 3 tuner backend (PVR-250 & PVR 500) and I have that running well. I had plans to mod an xbox to use as a front end, but ran into trouble with the soft mod an now have an excellent black screen generator (bricked until I get a mod chip of some kind). After failing at that, however, I did remember that I have an old Toshiba Satellite A35-P1593, with a
2.8ghz Celeron, 768mb ram, and an lintel 855GM graphics card with s-video out. It's running Ubuntu Gutsy (I was able to upgrade the Feisty install last night). The laptop has its problems, such as the DVD-Rom no longer works, the left button on the track pad has no "spring" or "click" left (so to speak), and it has no internal wireless (making it rather worthless as a Linux laptop anyway). But I figure it could serve quite well as a MythTV frontend (I already have the physical network run that I was planning to use with the xbox). My problem now is that I cannot find any information for how to enable TV-out on this video card. I've been searching the wiki and other resources through
mythtv.org to no avail. Has anyone else successfully enabled TV-out on an lintel based graphics card? I made this work on my Nvidia GeForce 4 in the past, so I know it's not difficult when the documentation is as commonly available as toilet paper, but I'm not having any luck finding a source of info on my Intel card. I'm running the 810i driver in my
xorg.conf. Any hints or leads would be appreciated.

Thanks!
