Thanks Jason.

I tried nvidia-graphics100.14.11 but with it X was not starting. Based on the errors it
gave, I decided I needed to use an older version.

Checking http://www.nvidia.com/object/IO_32667.html, I found
that the 96xx driver should support my GeForce4 MX 440 card.

So, I installed that from atrpms.net.

[root@zion drivers]# yum list installed | grep nvidia
nvidia-graphics-devices.noarch 1.0-5.fc7 installed
nvidia-graphics-helpers.i386 0.0.21-22.fc7 installed
nvidia-graphics9639.i386 1:1.0_9639-83.1.fc7 installed
nvidia-graphics9639-kmdl-2.6.21-1.3194.f 1:1.0_9639-83.1.fc7 installed
nvidia-graphics9639-libs.i386 1:1.0_9639-83.1.fc7 installed
[root@zion drivers]#

However, on restart of X, it complained that it failed to load
module "nvidia"

If I check, I do have a nvidia_drv.o that is a soft link to the new driver.
[root@zion drivers]# pwd
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers
[root@zion drivers]# ls -l nvidia*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1279024 2007-06-23 16:06 nvidia-1.0-9639_drv.o
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 51 2007-09-15 19:01 nvidia_drv.o -> /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/nvidia-1.0-9639_drv.o
[root@zion drivers]#
