I was able to get tvout working on the pvr-350 after upgrading to f7.
However, what i didn't get to work, was the playback using the pvr-350
encoder. There seems to be a known issue with this and 2.6.22, search
for 2.6.22 on the ivtv mailing list.

I tried to get MythTV running on Fedora 7 with x running on the pvr-350's TV out, but I failed miserably. I kept getting errors about not being able to find the ivtv module when I started X. I used to have an ivtv_xdriver RPM I got from atrpms, but it seems that there isn't such a beast in the Fedora 7 repository. Where did you get the xdriver from?

There's a nasty repository bug I ran into where Yum thinks there's no ivtv driver for certain kernels, but in reality it's mad because one of the dependencies it's looking for is at a newer rev. There was another recent thread on the subject on this list - Uninstall your version of ivtv using yum delete (yum remove? I can't remember the exact command) and then run yum install ivtv. It fixed things for me.
