Hi,<br><br>did that, but the same problem !<br>I have a feeling it is to do with something else ... whilst I can't see the menu items I can still use it ... watch TV ... see the EPG, etc.<br>Just the menu text doesn't show ... icons do however !
<br><br>So currently I have to run over HDMI with the RGB plugged in. If I remove the RGB plug on boot the menu text doesn't show ...<br><br>I am running <a href="http://mythbuntu.org">mythbuntu.org</a> with an ATI video card :

<br><br>You don't mention what hardware, but just to answer your question<br>directly, yes you can "force" a regen:<br>rm -rf ~/.mythtv/themecache<br><br>Not at my system right now, but I'm pretty sure it's themecache,
