Well i feel like an idiot. I just restarted the master backend. Then i stopped the slave backend to run it from cmd line. Come to find out the backend crashed. Once i restarted it worked!

One more question. Now that i have a slave backend the slave and master will both run commflagg? or do i need to set some stuff up so each do comm flag jobs.
