</blockquote></div><br>Rich,<br><br>from what little I know about EIT, it's not related to the question you posed to DirecTV. EIT is normally transmitted in the broadcast stream. It would be the mechanism that DirecTV uses to populate the on-screen guide if I read my links correctly.
