I had a similar issue when setting up a new frontend recently. Check that your timezone is set properly on the new frontend. In my case, the timezone was not set and the SQL queries the frontend was generating to access the seek and commercial information in the database weren't being generated correctly resulting in the same problems you are seeing.

I just setup a new frontend using Knoppmyth. Everything is working fine, except my new frontend won't skip commercials. When I try to manually skip them (using Q) it says that the recording isn't flagged. The recordings are flagged.
<br><br>The new frontend is also running a backend. I did setup a master backend IP in the setup. I can see all of the recordings.<br><br>Any idea what to look at?<br><br><br>
