Not to be a total jerk here.... But a lot of people use MythTV to actually (gasp!) watch live TV!<br><br>As we all know, most people who do this cruise through the guide and then pick what looks good at the moment. Without the entire guide data file, this is not possible. Browsing the guide would cause an avalanche of pings to the servers, unbelievable slowness etc.
