If you can't get into a terminal then its definitely the system
partition. If you were ripping dvds then the program may be using alot
of /tmp storage. So once you get access to the drive either via single
user mode, or knoppix look in the /tmp directory and see if any large
files are in there. You can also usually remove the *.1 *.2 *.3, etc
files from /var/log/ to free up enough space to at least get terminal
access. <br>

Oh and if you can't get Knoppix to work, your mythdora CD probably has
a rescue mode. <br>

I can't login to a terminal... All I get is a login prompt and when I try to
login (even tried the terminal), it just goes back to the login after GDM
gives me an error msg saying it can't write to it's config file.
:O atm I'm trying to use knoppix to delete files... but I dont think that
will work as I dont know how to give it the access it needs ... (it seems
knoppix 'respects' the owner of the drive...) o_o

Does MythTV do logging somewhere? If so, I think that it could be logging
so much that it fills up my drive?
