You would have to install both the nvidia kernel module and the nvidia library components coming from the same package version. The nvidia-kmod got removed at that time with the old kernel. I updated my nvidia-kmod shortly thereafter. I then updated mythtv-suite. I expected the mythtv-suite update to match my nvidia driver version (at least that is my current supposition.)

mythtv: could not connect to socket<br>mythtv: No such file or directory<br><br><br></span>So in the end I believe I have 9755 installed and mythfrontend has been built with 9746. My guess is that a build of mythtv-suite would be created with 9755, but not sure how to get it? When I try to upgrade mythtv-suite it tells me that their are no updates available.
